CNL Finals is an invitation only Ninja Competition

Please read for changes any new changes.

Qualification

  • Any athlete who earns ten (10) league points or more during the regular CNL season will receive an invitation to compete in the CNL Finals. Check HERE for your season points.

  • Invitations are based solely on points earned through official CNL qualifier competitions.

  • Finals registration will be $85 (plus fees) and will open up after the last qualifier or the season is completed. Prices will go up To $125 on April 8th.  (This is So hosting gyms can get the Check in times out ASAP)  Check in times should be posted on April 9th.

 

Championship Format

The CNL Finals will consist of three (3) stages in the order below:

  1. Stage 1: Hybrid Course

  2. Stage 2: Speed Course

  3. Stage 3: Burnout Course

 

Seeding & Running Order

  • Athletes will be seeded based on total league points earned during the season. for stage 1 and 2. Stage 3 will be based on combined score of stage 1 and 2.

  • Athletes with the lowest point totals will run first.

  • The initial run order will change going from Stage 2 to 3 based off results from stage 1 and 2..

  • In the event of a tie affecting running order, tied positions will be randomized.

 

Registration

  • Registration for CNL Finals will open the evening of the final qualifying competition of the season.

Finals Course Rules

Stage 1 – Hybrid Course

  • Stage 1 will follow the same rules as the regular CNL season.

  • The course will consist of approximately eight (8) to nine (9) obstacles.

  • Time limit: approximately 2:00 minutes.

  • Once the time limit is reached, the athlete’s run will end.

  • Athletes will earn points for each obstacle completed.  If obstacle is missed athlete will move on to the next obstacle trying to get as many points as possible.

  • Some obstacles may be worth more points than others, at the discretion of the hosting gym.

  • All athletes will advance to Stage 2. 

Stage 2 – Speed Course

  • Stage 2 will follow the same rules as the regular CNL season.

  • The course will consist of approximately six (6) to seven (7) obstacles.

  • Obstacles will be designed to emphasize speed and efficiency.

  • Time limit: approximately 1:00 minute.

  • Athletes will earn points for each obstacle completed.  If obstacle is missed athlete will move on to the next obstacle trying to get as many points as possible.

  • Top ten (10) athletes with a combined score from Hybrid and Speed will advance to Stage 3 (Burnout). 

Stage 3 – Burnout Course

  • Stage 3 run order will change and be based on combined score of stage 1 and 2.

  • Stage 3 will focus on upper-body endurance and grip.

  • When an athlete fails to complete an obstacle, their run will immediately end.

  • Time limit: approximately 3:30 minutes.

  • Athletes may not skip obstacles; all obstacles must be completed in order to continue.

 

Final Placements

  • Final placements, including the CNL State Champion, will be determined by overall performance across all three stages.

  • In the event of a tie, tiebreaker is based on Hybrid results.
